Welcome to information pages about communicable diseases occurrence

in the Slovak Republic. Data are obtained from reporting of individual cases of communicable diseases. Individual cases are recorded on basis of health care professionals reporting and active surveillance of epidemiologists from network of  public health authorities in the Slovak Republic. Data on influenza (ILI and ARI) are collected through reporting of general practicioners and pediatricians.

Information pages include list of Slovak legislation, occurrence of communicable diseases and influenza diseases in actual situation, information about prevention including immunization.  Information on communicable diseases occurrence is based on on-line connection to the Slovak central register containing data since 1997.
